Yvonne F. Johnson , 76, of Falmouth, Virginia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, in Chicago, Illinois with her loving daughter by her side.

Yvonne was born to the late Gordon and Emily Juggins on July 18, 1946. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and joined Shiloh (Old Site) Baptist Church, in Garrisonville, Virginia. Yvonne was an active member of the church and sang in the Senior Choir for many years.

Yvonne graduated from Stafford High School in 1964. Shortly after high school, she joined the workforce with the federal government. Yvonne worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation Academy in Quantico, Virginia where she served as a transportation supervisor and retired after 33 years. She also worked part-time at Forbes Street Market, where she built lifelong friendships.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her siblings, Gloria Baylor, Mary Jett, James (Pete) Juggins, Joseph Juggins, and Helen Lucas Payton.

Yvonne leaves to cherish her memories her two sons, Sean (Lori) Johnson of Albertville, MN, and Barry Johnson of Falmouth, VA; one daughter, Tahnee Johnson of Chicago, IL; five grandchildren, Shereen Hansen of Bornheim Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, Vanessa (Brian) Tran of Hastings, NE, Devin Johnson of Jefferson, MO, Jasmine Johnson of Buffalo, MN and Samarah Booker of Chicago, IL; two great-grandchildren, Alexander and Madeline Tran of Hastings, NE; sister, Joyce Mercer of Falmouth, VA; brother, Gordon Juggins, Jr of Lemoyne, PA; brothers-in-law, Edward (Gary) Mercer, and Thomas Jett; several nieces, and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
