William Pratt, Jr. , 64, also known as "Doosie" was called home to be with God on March 22, 2022. William was born March 25, 1957. Our hearts were saddened when Doosie transitioned into eternal peace but, he is now reunited with his mother, father and baby brother, Gicky.

William received an education with many friends at the Rappahannock Adult Activity Center up until 2020 due to the pandemic.

Doosie loved nothing more than music, singing, and humming a good tune.

William was proceeded in death by his parents, Elizabeth Pratt and William Hampton Pratt, Sr.; three brothers, James Christopher, Richard Christopher, and Ernest L. Pratt Sr.; and one sister, Joyce Bates.

He leaves his loving and caring memories to be cherished by his loving sisters, Carolyn Hart, Shirley Johnson (Jimmy), and Dottie Jean King; one brother, Anthony Pratt (Mary); one sister-in-law, Samantha Pratt; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow at Mt. Lawn Cemetery in Woodford, VA.
