On September 18, 1997, a beautiful baby girl blessed the world with her presence. Whitney Nicole Shijan Hamm was born to Marqis and Shannon Hamm. On Saturday, November 19, 2022, at the precious age of twenty-five the Lord called Whitney home.

Whitney took on many titles, but her most important title of all was "mother". She absolutely adored her daughter, Izabella. Whitney loved her whole heartedly and Izabella was her world. Her daughter was the love of her life. Whitney's joy didn't stop there. Whitney treasured her nieces and nephews. She exceeded the responsibilities of being an aunt. She always hosted movie nights for them, and truly loved them as her own.

Country music was Whitney's favorite. She enjoyed spending time with family, dog, Bella and bearded dragon, Shasta. Whitney was and will forever be her Daddy's girl. Her contagious smile and presence will be truly missed.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Kesè Hoffman; uncle, Dana Gallahan, Sr.; and her great uncles, LeRoy Hamm, Jr., Mack A. Hamm, and Jack House, Jr.

Whitney leaves a loving legacy to her daughter, Izabella Kaye Hamm; devoted parents, Marqis, and Shannon Hamm; siblings, Candice Hodge, Robby Pierce (Kimberly Lynn), Courtney Hodge (Qa'Sean, Sr.), and Dean FraserMildford; nieces, Serenitti Hodge, and Kay'Lani Jones; nephews, Dre'Van Hodge, and Qa'Sean Jones, Jr.; grandmothers, Deborah Hamm, and Joyce Gallahan; grandfather, Joseph Hunter; uncles, Joseph Hunter, Sr. (Jennifer), and Crandell Edmonds (LaToya); aunt, Pamela Jacobs; great uncles, Van Hamm (Lauren), and Richard Hamm (Ann); great aunts, Carole Hamm, and Valerie House; and a host of other relatives.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM.
