Thomas Edward Jett affectionally known as Tommy and 747 departed this life peacefully at his home in Stafford, VA, on September 1, 2025.

Tommy was born in King George, Virginia on July 17, 1950, to the late Blanche Jett and Willie Bruce. Tommy was the youngest of five children and was predeceased by his siblings, Joan Jett, Dorothy (Frank) Holmes, Jacqueline (Snookie) Jett and Franklyn Jett all of King George, VA and Stepson Fernando Owens of Roanoke Rapids, VA

While working at the Marine Corps Base in Quantico, VA Tommy met the love of his life, the late Mary Juggins. Mary predeceased Tommy on October 9, 2005.

Tommy is survived by his daughters Robbin Jett and Sandy Jett-Williams (Micheal) and Granddaughter Shaquilia (Nicky) Jett, all of King George, VA. A devoted nephew who was like a son, Command SgtMaj, US Army (Retired) Nathaniel Jett of Omaha, Nebraska. Special and devoted nieces whom he spoke with on a regular basis, Alice (Andrew) Williams and Lolita Jett of King George VA, and Doreen (Larry) Peyton of Henrico, VA. Special and devoted niece Etta (Robert) Washington, special and devoted nephew Timmy (Florence) Jett, Sister-in-law Edith Jett and his best friend the Reverend Lester F. Harvey (Winifred) all of King George, VA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
