TarNesia Renee Massey , 39, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN.

Born on June 12, 1984, in Belleville, IL, she leaves behind one son, Christopher I. Massey; her mother, grandmother (Virginia Flowers); and three siblings. She was the cherished daughter of Brenda L. Flowers and Walter Massey Jr. (deceased). TarNesia graduated from Brooke Point High School in 2003. Throughout her career, she dedicated herself to the hospitality and daycare industries. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, cherishing moments with family and friends. Her remarkable ability to connect with others in meaningful ways left a lasting impact. She is fondly remembered by her mother, son, and sisters, TaMyra Matthews, Tiffany Flowers, and LaTrice Tilles (cousin/sister); nephews, Brian Hence, Jr., and Lincoln Johnson; niece, Ava Johnson; as well as numerous cousins, aunts, and uncles.

Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound that is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply in her wide network of community.  The family deeply appreciates your support during this difficult time.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Remaining services will be held privately.
