Steven Bradley Barrier, Sr. , 72, of Fredericksburg, VA, our beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend peacefully passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026.

Steven was a one of a kind husband, father, grandpa, uncle, and the kind of friend that was rare to find.

He was proceeded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn; mother, Irene Barrier Brown; father, Gilbert Thomas, siblings, Antwan Foreman, Edward Darmon and Tina Foreman.

Steven is survived by children, Steven Barrier, Jr. and Chantel Johnson; nine grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

He will be greatly missed until the day we reunite again.

A viewing and visitation will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, 22408, on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM.
