Schiavetta Marie Talley, 51, born October 11, 1973, to the late Randolph and Eleanorah Talley, departed this life on Thursday, December 26, 2024, at her residence in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Schiavetta received her education in Louisa County public schools.  She graduated from Louisa High School.  Schiavetta worked in the food service industry at various locations in Spotsylvania and Fredericksburg, VA.  She continued to pursue higher education through completion of college courses.

Schiavetta was a lifelong member of the Temple of Deliverance, Holy Church of God (TOD, HCG), Mineral, Virginia.  It was there that she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior, at an early age and enjoyed fellowship and worship with her church family until her health declined.  Schiavetta truly enjoyed visiting with her relatives and friends.  She was always willing to offer praise and words of encouragement to her younger family members.  She would find ways to compliment everyone and bring a smile to their faces.  Her sense of humor and hearty laughter were sure to bring positive energy to any atmosphere.

Schiavetta was a loving mother and grandmother.  She loved talking to her daughter and grandson on video.  Her love of music and dance were her trademarks.  Schiavetta will truly be missed by her family, friends and everyone who loved her.

Schiavetta is preceded in death by her parents, Randolph and Eleanorah Talley, brother, Charles Syrkes, and granddaughter, Alani Coles.

Schiavetta leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted daughter, Shakira Talley of Louisa, Virginia; one sister, Lolita Smith (Isaiah Smith) of Louisa, Virginia; two grandsons, Brandon and Josiah Coles; two nieces, Tatianna and Kimberly Smith;  four aunts, Hazel Ruth Lewis, Arlene Morris, Myrtle Jackson (Robert) all of Spotsylvania, Virginia, and Margaret Rea Bright of Orange, Virginia; a devoted cousin, Wanda Johnson of Louisa, Virginia; beloved cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Temple of Deliverance Holy Church of God on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM. The repass will follow immediately.
