Roger Daneil Ford, Sr. , of Fredericksburg, VA, transitioned from this life to his eternal life on August 18, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on May 8, 1958, in Spotsylvania, Virginia, Roger was the beloved son of Maude F. Edwards and the late Roger T. Carter.

Roger leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Andrea Antonio "Tony" Fairchild and Roger Ford, Jr. "RJ"; four grandchildren, Jaime Fairchild, Tahira Fairchild, Tamaiya Shepard and Leilani Ford; two great grandchildren, Kaiden Williams and Kamryn Dailey; his loving mother, Maude Edwards (Phil "Pop"); stepmom, Julia Carter; four brothers, Anthony Ford (Geri), DeConstance Carter, Brian Ford (MeLinda) and Rodney Carter; five sisters, Sheila Sivels (Claude), Deborah Ford, Faith Bustamante (Paz), Tara Carter and Christina Clemons (Gary); two uncles, George Ford, Jr. (Brenda) and James Carter (Grace); one aunt, Mary Pendleton (Wayne) and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, on Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The interment will be held privately.
