Mary Elizabeth Canty , 94, of Fredericksburg, VA, formerly of Castle Hayne, NC, departed this life on November 8, 2025.

Mary leaves a loving legacy t o her children, Joseph Canty, Jr. (Victoria) of Wilmington, NC, Angela Marie Tindall (Gregory, Sr.) of Jacksonville, FL, Sharon Denise Jones (Avery) of Fayetteville, GA, and Rodney Jeffrey Canty (Yolonda) of Fredericksburg, VA; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at conducted at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 812 Harnett St., Wilmington, NC 28401, on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM. The interment will follow at Calvary Memorial Cemetery. Services held in Wilmington, NC entrusted to Davis Funeral Home , 901 South 5th Ave., Wilmington, NC, 28401.
