Marjorie Mae Griffin departed this life on June 13, 2026 at Berea Health and Rehab. She was born to the late James and Alberta Turner in Caroline County, VA on October 22, 1930. She joined Bethlehem Baptist Church at an early age and remained a member there.

Her sister, Charlotte and brother, Roderick preceded her in death.

Marjorie was married to the late James L. Griffin. She leaves to mourn two children, L. Murdock Griffin (Carol) of Prescott Valley, AZ, and Aldora Griffin of Spotsylvania, VA; two grandchildren, Charla Griffin of St. Louis, MO, and Kyle Griffin (Stephanie) of Richmond, VA; a sister-in-law, Lucille Griffin of Fredericksburg, VA; and several nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives.

The family would like to thank the staff at Berea Health and Rehab and Medi Hospice for their exceptional care and kindness.

A visitation will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200, Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, 22408, on Friday, June 19, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
