Luis Roberto Padilla passed away peacefully on November 29, 2024, at Mary Washington Hospital, in Fredericksburg, VA. He was born on February 17, 1954, in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico, to Luis and Maria Padilla. Bobby/Bob (as he liked to be called) grew up in Hialeah/Miami, FL. He was a proud resident of Fredericksburg, VA, for many years.

He married his spouse, Muriel Escobar Padilla, on December 12, 2008, in Plainfield, NJ. Bob enjoyed exploring, going on adventures, metal detecting, and had a passion for fishing, and collecting antiques, mostly military.

Bob was predeceased by his younger brother, Diego Alejandro.

Bob is survived by his wife, Muriel; his stepson, Ed Avila; his sister, Carmen Padilla Morales; five other siblings; two sons, Daniel and Jacob; three grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of other relatives.

The interment will be held at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA, 22172, on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 10:30 AM.
