Larry Bolden Jones was born and raised in southern New Jersey to the late Gladys Wilcox and Bolden Jones. He was a proud graduate of Millville Senior High School and went on to serve his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps.

Larry returned home and began his working career at the Woodbine Book Factory. He later worked for the Woodbine Developmental Center, where he spent several years before transitioning into a career as an insurance salesman with Primerica, and then onto Advantage Rental during this time.

Larry was a spiritual man. He demonstrated his faith through his membership at Soar Baptist Church. His faith guided his life and the way he treated others.

Larry was known for his sense of humor and infectious personality. He was always joking, laughing, and bringing smiles to those around him. He showed his love openly and cherished his family deeply. Nothing brought him greater joy than speaking about his grandchildren and the happiness they brought into his life, and as we all know, he was a devoted fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Gladys Wilcox and Bolden Jones; his brother, Barry Jones; and his beloved son Larry Jones Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Michael Jones (Eribel), Mark Jones (Erica), and Antoinette Arrington (Gary); his sisters, Lenora Forbes, Amy White, Lisa Jones, Delores Elsey (Tootsie), Isabel Sample, and his loving and dear cousin Johnny Ball, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, and his loving companion, Susan Sae Jung.

Larry will be remembered for his laughter, his faith, his love for family, and the joy he brought into every room he entered. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

All services will be held privately.
