Kyren
Godwin
d. Nov 14, 2024
Kyren Denzel Godwin , precious baby boy of Kwanshala Johnson and Demonte' Godwin, entered this world peacefully sleeping at rest with our heavenly Father on November 14, 2024, at Spotsylvania Regional Hospital, in Spotsylvania, Virginia.
Kyren was a tiny little angel, weighing in at 2 pounds, 8 ounces, and 14 inches. While our hearts were not ready, God had plans that we did not or could not fathom for our precious baby boy. We will forever hold Kyren deep in our hearts and canon ly imagine the impact his life would have had on those anxiously awaiting his arrival.
Along with his MaMa, DaDa, big brother, Kashton, Auntie and Godmommy, Kalyce Taylor, were making room for all of the love and laughter that Kyren would soon bring into their lives. Kashton would often point at his MaMa's tummy and say, "Baby Brother" while Kalyce would say, "I'm having all nephews".
Kyren will always have a special place in the hearts of his grandmothers, Rolanda Wallace-Taylor and Katina Godwin; grandfather, Kevin Johnson; great-grandparents, Gail Wallace, Roland Wallace, Sheila Wallace, Jacqueline Washington, Delia Johnson, Billy Roane, and Maggie Shelton; aunt, Kayla Johnson; uncle, Kavon Johnson; godmother, Amiree Lewis; auntie and godmommy, Kalyce Taylor; godfather, Ashton Ashlock; goddad, Delontay Proctor; special great aunt, Yolanda McGilvary-Green; great-great aunt, Donna Holmes; and a host of other relatives.
Whenever we see a rainbow in the sky, we will smile and remember God's promise of hope, love, happiness, and acceptance knowing that our precious baby boy, Kyren Denzel Godwin, is resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
A graveside service will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 3207 Quarter Hill Road, Caret, VA 22436, on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 1:00 PM with the Reverend Irving L. Woolfolk, Jr., Pastor, officiating the service.
