Kevin Lynn Deal , 57 of  Fredericksburg, VA passed away on September 7, 2022 at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD.

He was born August 11, 1965 in Hickory, NC, to the late Ola Marie and Kenneth Deal.  Kevin was a member of Saint William of York Catholic Church in Stafford, VA. Kevin joined the US Coast Guard on September 6, 1983 and was an Officer when he retired on January 31, 2005.  As a Veteran, he was very proud of his service to his country and the US Coast Guard. He was known for his faith in God, love of his family, and thoughtfulness and caring of friends.

His mother, Ola Marie and his father, Kenneth preceded him in death.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 16 years, Johany Deal of Fredericksburg, VA, daughters, Isabel Deal and Anna Deal; sons, Bradley Deal, Jack Deal, and Alex Deal; brothers, Delray Deal of Connelly Springs, NC and Troy Slaughter of Wilmington; other family members, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, niece and nephew; and many friends and family.

A funeral service will be held at Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel, 1701 Semper Fidelis Wy, Triangle, VA, 22172, on Monday, September 19, 2022, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. The burial will follow at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA, 22172, at 1:30 PM.
