Grace Washington Blair , 83, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, in Philadelphia, PA.

She was born March 25, 1939, to the late Jack and Geneva Walker. She was raised by her aunt, Gertrude Brown.

In June 1957 she married Kenneth Boswell Washington who preceded her in death. To this union the couple was blessed with three children.

She was also later married to Linwood Blair who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory three daughters, Sylvia Washington Cunningham, Linda Washington, and Jennifer Washington Taylor; five grandchildren, Jamile, Dominic, LeMar, Jaleesa, LeAndria, and LaCrista; and seven great grandchildren, Isaiah, Karo, Ziel, Danielle, Malachi, Anye, Saniyah, and Janiya.

Grace resided in Philadelphia, PA, with her daughter until her death. She worked in many positions including caregiving, domestic engineering, and nursing over the span of her life.

Grace will be remembered for her loving and kind spirit and a woman of prayer, and grace.

A viewing and visitation will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 10:00 AM followed by a homegoing celebration at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow the service at Mount Lawn Cemetery, in Woodford, VA.
