Deaconess Fredricka "Freddie" Brown Braswell , 83, of Fredericksburg, VA, entered rest on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, Fredericksburg, VA, 22408.

Fredricka Brown Braswell, affectionally known as Freddie, was born to the late Trustee Stephen and Deaconess Mary Brown on December 25, 1942, in Charleston, South Carolina.

She leaves to cherish her sons, Rev. Baron (Deacon Judeaette) Braswell, Fredrick (Sandy) Braswell of McDonough, GA; three grandchildren, Zachary Braswell of Raleigh, NC, Omar (Ericka) Braswell and Aaliyah Braswell of McDonough, GA; three precious great-grandchildren, Kaiser, Charlie, and Parker Braswell of McDonough, GA.

The family will receive friends at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, 22408, on Friday, March 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.  A viewing will be held at Beulah Baptist Church, 5216 Arcadia Road, Woodford, VA 22580, on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow immediately at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
