Ernest Edward Brown
affectionately known as
"Ernie D." and lovingly
called "Poochie" by his
family, passed away at
the age of 66 in his
Fredericksburg, Virginia
home. He was
discovered on Monday
March 31st, 2025.
Ernest had a love for
music, video games
and Sci-Fi and
adventure movies. He
dedicated nearly 45
years of service to
McLane of Fredericksburg, VA,
rarely missing a day of work.
He will be deeply
missed by his mother, Patricia A. Blocker; his sisters, Wanda J. Burnette-Walker of
Alachua, FL, Eugenia R. Gray of Fredericksburg.VA, and Pamela Y. Lamar of
Fredericksburg, VA; his nephews, Percy Lamar Ill and Peyt'n Lamar; his niece, Deja M. Gray; his aunt, Jeanne'Christmas; and a host of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, who
raised him, Rev. Webster D. and Mattie
Christmas, and his uncle, Thomas W.
Christmas.
A memorial service will
be held on Tuesday
April 8th, 2025. Family
will receive guests at
10:00 a.m., followed by
the service at 11:00 a.m.
May Ernie rest peacefully and remain
forever in God's loving arms.
