Emmitt Lee Chambliss, Sr. , 79, of Fredericksburg, VA, departed this life on July 23, 2026. He was born on January 23, 1947, to the late Robert and Blanche Wyatt Chambliss of Jarratt, VA. Emmitt was the youngest of ten children.

Emmitt grew up in a home of believers in God and faithful bible readers. He joined church at an early age. Emmitt enjoyed attending United Faith Christian Ministries in Stafford, VA.

Emmitt leaves to cherish his memories his devoted and caring wife of 45 years, Anastasia "Ann" Chambliss, and a host of other relatives.

A viewing will be held at United Faith Christian Ministries, 150 Susa Drive, Stafford, VA 22554, on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 11:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. The interment will be held at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, VA 22172on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 11:30 AM.
