Dorothy Mae Minor , 82, of Fredericksburg, VA, our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, peacefully passed away at her home surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, May 30, 2026.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; daughter, Kimberly; mother, Lucy; father, Nate; siblings, Chris and Lois; and granddaughter, Kimberly Nicole.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Debra, Robin, Diona, and Earl, Jr.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Dorothy will be greatly missed until the day we reunite again.

A viewing will be held at Third Mount Zion Baptist Church, 9132 Fredericksburg Turnpike, Woodford, VA 22580, on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life 11:00 AM. The interment will follow at Third Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
