Donnell Dudley Silver was born to the late Elder Raymond Lee Silver and Mother Lillie Mae Grant Silver in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  Donnell gave his life to the Lord as a teenager.  Having served as an ordained deacon at Kingdom Family Worship Center, formerly Tower of Deliverance Church, he loved  to sing, play his guitar, and give words, in his own way.  He graduated from Chancellor High School in Spotsylvania, Virginia.   Those who knew Donnell will remember him for his love, his laughter, and his big smile.

Donnell is survived by seven siblings, Lewis Silver (Peggy) of Ruther Glen, VA, Deborah Adams (Tyrone) of Spotsylvania, VA, Raymond Silver (Frankie) of Pensacola, FL, Doris Henderson (Joseph, Sr.) of Fredericksburg, VA, Barbara Silver of Windsor Mill, MD, Anthony Silver (Demetrice) of Spotsylvania, VA, and Nathan Silver (Katie) of Spotsylvania, VA.  He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, friends, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law.  He was grateful for his special relationships with his pastors, Pastor Lynn Beanum, Sr., and Bishop Joseph Henderson, Sr.  He also had special admiration and affection for his caregivers for the last twenty years, his sister Deborah and brother-in-law, Tyrone. In spite of his many challenges, Donnell enjoyed his life and loved the Lord with all his heart.

A viewing and visitation will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, 22408, on Friday, June 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. An additional viewing will be held at Kingdom Family Worship Center, 400 Bragg Hill Drive/Kingdom Way, Fredericksburg, VA, 22401, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow at Mount Lawn Cemetery, 9316 Woodford Road, Woodford, VA, 22580.
