Diona Althea Minor , better known as "Dee", 63, of Ruther Glen, VA, peacefully departed this life at VCU Medical Center, surrounded by family and loved ones on Sunday, June 7, 2026.

Diona was preceded in death by her parents, Earl, and Dorothy Minor; a biological father, Roy Morgan; her sister, Kimberly Christina Minor and niece, Kimberly Nicole Minor.

Diona is survived by her siblings, Debra, Robin, Earl Jr., Leroy, Tonya, Kathy, Rita, Kelvin, and Pam; her nieces, Tonay "Nay Nay", Todd "Scoop", Zion, Iesha, Tamaira, Tiana, Dee Dee and Echo; a host of great nieces and nephews; one sister-in-law, Sharletta Minor; one brother-in-law, Larry Toye; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Diona "Dee" will be deeply missed until the day we reunite again.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, 22408, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. An additional viewing will be held at First Baptist Church of Glenarden International, 3600 Brightseat Road, Landover, MD, 20785, on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 10:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM.
