Pete was born in Fredericksburg, VA, on October 1, 1962, and adopted by Carey and George "Rabbit" Washington. He grew up on Cooktown Road in Spotsylvania. He attended Spotsylvania High School and went on to be a tradesman working as a brick mason and barber. Most importantly, he was a father, grandfather, trusted friend, and confidant to many.
He was a principled man who valued family, integrity, and realness. His fun, loving spirit will be missed and the memory of him cherished forever and ever.

Pete is survived by his children, Brandon, Shantane (Cholin) and De'Von; his grandchildren, Zoe Israel, and Rumi; his sister Bridget; his brother David; his cousins, including Xavier, Kevin, Elmo, Baker, Rodney, Tony, Brenda, Edith, and Elaine; and a host of other relatives and friends whom he loved and cherished dearly.
A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The interment will be held privately.
