On the evening of June 20, 1992, Courtney Irene Hodge gracefully entered this world. Suddenly, on December 3, 2022, at the age of thirty, Courtney peacefully departed this life.

During her short time here on earth, Courtney blessed so many lives with her presence. Her infectious smile, outgoing personality, and great sense of humor made you feel welcomed instantly. There wasn't anywhere she couldn't go and make a friend. Courtney was full of laughter and was truly the life of the party. Undoubtedly, to know her was to love her. Courtney will be sorely missed but her soul will continue living on through her loving family and friends.

She was predeceased by her sister, Whitney Hamm; niece, Kesè Hoffman; grandmother, Elizabeth Kizzie; uncle, Dana Gallahan, Sr.; great uncles, LeRoy Hamm, Jr., Mack A. Hamm, and Jack House, Jr.

Courtney leaves to celebrate her life, two adored children, Qa'Sean Jones, Jr., and Kay'Lani Jones; parents, Marqis and Shannon Hamm, and Darryl and Cheryl Yancey; siblings, Candice Hodge (Chaunte), Robby Pierce (Kimberly Lynn), and Dean Fraser Mildford; boyfriend, Qa'Sean, Jones, Sr.; nieces, Serenitti Hodge, and Izabella Hamm; nephew, Dre'Van Hodge; grandmothers, Deborah Hamm, and Joyce Gallahan; grandfathers, Clarence Kizzie, and Joseph Hunter; uncles, Joseph Hunter, Sr. (Jennifer), and Crandell Edmonds (LaToya); aunts, Denise Kizzie (DeWarren), and Pamela Jacobs; great uncles, Van Hamm (Lauren), and Richard Hamm (Ann); great aunts, Carole Hamm, and Valerie House; and a host of other relatives.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
