Colonel "Jose" Martin , 44, of Fredericksburg, VA, departed this life on Monday, January 24, 2022, at Mary Washington Hospital.

To honor Jose and his love for sports, the wearing of sports attire is welcomed at all services for him.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, on Thursday, February 3, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and one hour before the funeral service. A funeral service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Keene, VA, on Friday, February 4, 2022, at 12:00 PM. The interment will be held at Haden Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
