Clarence "Jimmy" Preston , 89, of Fredericksburg, VA, passed away February 12, 2025. On August 15, 1936, he was born to Stewart Clarence Preston and Lola Belle Conway in Stafford, VA. He was raised on Belle Plains Road.

He spent his life dedicated to family, service, and community. After serving in the Air Force, he returned to Fredericksburg to be near family. He continued his career, working at FMC and Print Pack before retiring. Clarence was an active member of the community and was a particularly dedicated bowler who enjoyed decades of league bowling in the Fredericksburg area.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Clarence (Sally); four grandchildren, Joshua, Katrina Callsen, Elijah, and Ethan Preston; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow at Glen Haven Memory Gardens.
