Obituary

Christine Virginia Hall was born September 10, 1931 in Madison County, VA, to the late Luther Franklin Hill, Sr. and Daris Narcissus Hill. She peacefully departed this life for eternal rest on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

Christine was educated in the Madison County school system at George Washington Carver High School. After finishing school she moved to Fredericksburg, VA . There she met and married Robert Harold Hall. They were united in marriage for 14 years, until God called him home. God blessed their union with one child, and they were also blessed with many nieces and nephews who loved to spend time with them.

She was affectionately known as "Bigma" to all, even before she was a mother. This is the nickname that her mother gave to her because Christine had a big heart, and she was a giver. Bigma was always willing to help where she could. She would give her last to make sure no one went without. The neighborhood kids loved her, and she loved them always finding something to give to them to remember her by. One of the young men who grew up with Rico said she was the "Legend of Glover Street". You would always see her with a smile and a bow in her hair (usually pink) and a scarf around her neck. Even when her health began to fail, she still wanted to make sure others were taken care of and always gave God a praise.

Christine accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and was filled with the Baptism of the Holy Spirit at an early age. She joined the Holy Trinity Church in Wolftown, VA, and was a faithful member until God called her home. She served as a choir member, a Deaconess and was also called Mother of the Church. She was known as a prayer warrior and had a unique voice for solos. She loved praising the Lord in the good times and in the bad times.

Deaconess Christine was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings.

She leaves to cherish her life and legacy to, one devoted daughter, Pamela Miller and her husband Elliott of Fredericksburg, VA. She is survived by three grandchildren, LaRico D. Hall (Davia) of Waldorf, MD, Aaron L. Hall, and Kayla C. Miller of Fredericksburg, VA. Two great grandchildren, Reign Hall and Emrys Hall; a goddaughter, Crystal Wright of Spotsylvania, VA; a godson, Gordon S. Fields (Debra) and family of Charlottesville, VA; a special niece, Viola Holmes and her family of Charlottesville, VA; a special nephew, Stanley Fields and his family of Madison, VA; five siblings remain to cherish her memories, Mary Hardy, Mildred Young, Gladys Jackson, Janet Durham, and Luther F.
