Charles Henry Smith, Jr. , affectionately known as Junie, 65, of Spotsylvania, VA, departed this life on September 3, 2025. Charles Henry Smith, Jr. was the son of the late Charles Henry Smith, Sr. and Patsy Jean (White) Smith of Spotsylvania, VA.

Charles was proceeded in death by two brothers, Bobby Smith and Carlton Smith.

Charles leaves to cherish his memory a lifelong partner of 37 years, Mary Erin Lockhart; three sons, Marcus Williams, Nicco Smith, and Dion Smith; one daughter, Tara (Smith) Harris; five grandchildren, Janiah Andrews, Jarmarr Andrews, Taraji Andrews, Amaris Williams and Dylan Williams; one brother, Keith Smith; five sisters, Stephanie Brooks, Cathy (Malcom) Washington, Sandra Sims, Julia Smith, and Tasha (George) Atkins; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives.

A private family and friends memorial service will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
