Brooklen Christina Renee Burruss departed this life on December 1, 2023. The Lord called Brooklen home at the young age of 2 years old.

Brooklen was preceded in death by her great grandfather, Robert H. Spratley, and great aunt, Teresa Ann Ellis.

Left to cherish her beautiful memories are her mother, Jennifer Spratley, her father, Treshawn Burruss, and her big brother, Isaiah. She also leaves to cherish her grandparents, (Mama and Papa), Rodney and Angela Clark, Stacee Burruss, and Neil Bennett; great grandmothers, (Memaw), Elloris Spratley and Francina Burrus; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.

A private funeral service will be held at A.L. Bennet and Son Funeral Home in Fredericksburg, VA, on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM. The interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Fredericksburg, VA, on Thursday, December 14, 2023, at 12:00 PM. The family will gather at the funeral home.

We asked that anyone attending the service to wear a mask and if possibly, wear pink to honor Brooklen.
