Brenda Darlene Grady was born on May 10, 1954, in Columbus, Ohio.  She departed this life on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Spotsylvania Regional Hospital where she battled cancer.

Brenda graduated from Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring, MD in 1972. She worked as a home health care practitioner.  She was there to care for, help and support family members and friends in their time of need.

Brenda is preceded in death by her mother, Onelia C. Grady, father, William T. Grady, Jr., brother, Rickey B. Minor, and uncles, Roland Minor, Ira L. Minor. Sr., and James B. Robinson.

Brenda leaves to remember her Keenan Williams, partner and caregiver; her son, Kamron Grady Gay (Sarah); grandsons, Kailijah Gay, Kavon Gay, Kaden Gay; sister, Catherine Grady Guy (Wendell), niece, Erika Guy; great nephew, Shareef Conyer; aunt, Julie Grady Heard (Ohio), and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, VA, 22408, on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
