Barbara J. Carter , 61, of Spotsylvania, VA, departed this life on March 7, 2022, at her home surrounded by family.

Barbara was proceeded in death by her daughter, Samona.

Barbra is survived by three children, Renada, Joseph, and Deaundrey; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at Massaponax Baptist Church, 5101 Massaponax Church Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407, on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM.
