Audrey Mae Douglas , 93, of Locust Grove, VA passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, at Mary Washington Hospital surrounded by her family.

Born on October 11, 1931, Audrey was a devoted wife, mother and educator whose life touched many.

She was a woman of deep faith and an active member of Shiloh Baptist Church New Site. Her presence in the church community reflected her generous spirit and unwavering kindness.  Known for her warm heart and welcoming nature, Audrey never met a stranger.  Her ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.

She is succeeded by her children, Trenita Williams, Evered Douglas, III, Teressa Taylor, and Jewel Kennedy. Her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

A memorial service honoring Audrey's life will be held at Shiloh Baptist Church New Site, 525 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401, on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM followed by the inurnment at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 3702 Loren Drive, Fredericksburg, VA 22408, at 12:00 PM.
