April Felicia Fields departed this life on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the Riverside Regional Medical Center, in Newport News, VA. She was born on December 17, 1972, to Hobert Fields and the late Leacy Bundy Fields. April grew up in Fredericksburg, VA. In 1991, April graduated from James Monroe High School.

April was a loving mother, grandmother, and niece. To know her was to love her. April's kind heart and beautiful smile will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Leacy Bundy Fields; grandmother, Mary G. Bundy; and uncle, Christopher Bundy.

April leaves a loving legacy to her daughter, Mariah Fields; son, Myles Berry; father, Hobert Fields; two grandchildren, Ah'Rie Fields, and Amare Prosise; grandmother, Mozelle Fields; grandfather, Lindburgh C. Bundy; fiancé, Stacy Berry; three aunts, Stephanie Fields, Patrice Rollins, and LaGreta Gibson; two uncles, Tyree Bundy (Linda), and Taren Fields (Martina); one great aunt, Rebecca Walker; one great uncle, Thomas Fields; one great-great uncle, Harold Green, Sr. (Lucille); and a host of cousins, other relatives and longtime friends.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
