Anthony Pratt,
Sr.
d. Sep 1, 2022
Anthony Wendell Pratt, Sr. , also known as "Tony" or "TP", not to be confused with toilet paper, was born on August 23, 1962, in Fredericksburg, VA, to the late William Hampton Pratt and Elizabeth (Samuel) Pratt.
Tony attended Fredericksburg City Schools. His wisdom and hardworking nature afforded him the opportunities to travel in the military and receive an honorable discharge, manage large groups at various companies, and assist family and friends with getting their start in the workforce. Before (and after) his health declined, TP was the life of the party, at any time and any place, he commanded the room and made sure others not only felt welcome, but that they had a few great laughs and a great meal (prepared by Ms. Mary). He had the warmest heart and came to the aid of anyone in need. He inspired others to acknowledge life's troubles and the occurrence of falling down and preached the significance of getting back up and coming back stronger. Tony's physical body may no longer be with us, but his smile, his jokes, his love, and his spirit lives on forever.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, William Hampton Pratt, and Elizabeth (Samuel) Pratt, and his brothers, Ernest L. Pratt and William H. Pratt, Jr.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and wisdom that will be forever held dearly by his soulmate and fiancée of 32 years, Mary Holloway; daughters, Latosha Pratt (Chris Ward Jr.) and Mariah Holloway; sons, Anthony Pratt, Jr. "TJ" (Shena), Cory Pratt, and Zha'Velle Roberts; three sisters, Shirley Johnson (Jimmy), Carolyn Pratt, and Dottie Jean King; eight beloved grandchildren; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving relatives and friends.
