Anna Howard (nee Walker) was born to Arbra Walker and Evelyn Walker (nee Scroggins) in Stafford County, Virginia on September 23, 1962. Anna was raised and baptized at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Widewater, Virginia. She departed this life at the age of 59 years, and six months to be with the Lord on Tuesday March 22, 2022.

Anna was a hard worker that graduated from Stafford Senior High School then obtained her Associates Degree from Devry University. She was known for her love of art, music, and gardening. She was an avid painter and loved any song with an upbeat tempo. Anna also loved planting, she had various plants throughout her home all her life and kept a garden as well, never losing a plant. She met Kevin in 1992 their love grew, and they got married October 1, 2010. Most importantly she was a very involved mother and rarely missed any school event. She loved spending time with family. She enjoyed weekly gatherings with her sisters, and it was important to cook dinner daily and breakfast on the weekends

She leaves behind to cherish her memories; her husband, Kelvin L. Howard; her sons, Gregory L. Walker and Kevin J. Walker; daughter, Keyanya N. Walker; her siblings, Gail Buckner of Maryland, Joanne Ferguson of Mississippi, Helen Shah of Stafford, Wayne Walker of Stafford, Terri Bumbrey of Stafford, and Lisa Reid of Caroline County; her mother-in-law, Naomi Howard; her uncle, Bobby Brown of Maryland; four brothers-in-law, Lawrence Shah of Stafford, Ian Reid of Caroline County, Ray Howard of Woodbridge, and Harvey Howard, Jr. of Woodbridge; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A viewing will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Triangle, VA, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. The interment will follow at Quantico National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
