Angella Theresa Thomas was born on November 19, 1959, in Westmoreland, Jamaica, WI. She was the first-born child to Roslyn Clementine Farquharson and Glenn Leaford Farquharson. Angella was also lovingly referred to by her nickname, Lorna.

She was raised in Jamaica and was very proud of her heritage. She learned how to cook at an early age and was well known for her Jamaican delicacies. She especially loved to dance and would light up a room with her signature dance moves.

Angella worked as an Executive Administrative Assistant with Rockwell Collins and was admired by all she worked with. She later switched gears and became a licensed insurance agent with Lincoln Heritage. She aspired to become an entrepreneur as she loved to come up with inventions and innovations, she felt passionate about and believed could make a big impact on the world. Angella was a warm-hearted person who loved God and people.

On September 11, 1976, Angella met and married Arnold Thomas. The two shared 48 loving years with one another. On October 26, 2024, Angella transitioned peacefully at home in Fredericksburg, VA. Angella will be deeply missed by family, friends, and associates whose lives she touched with her kindness, love, and warmth. In honor of her memory, we celebrate the love she shared and the legacy she left behind.

Angella is survived by her devoted husband, Arnold; three beautiful daughters, Tsahai Artis, Alicia Johnson, and Natasha Hinds; one brother, Wayne Farquharson; six cherished grandchildren, Saleeha Hirams, Tavon Artis, Tevin Artis, Tyler Artis, Alaiyah Johnson, and Noah Hinds; one adored grandchild, Juel Psalm Hirams; her sons-in-love, Shawn Artis, Marc Johnson, and Dwayne Hinds; and a host of other relatives, and friends.

A viewing will be held at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM. The interment will be held privately.
