Dorothy Marie Smith Moore, of Fredericksburg, passed away on February 11, 2013.
She is survived by a host of friends and relatives, a daughter, Constance Thornton (Miami, Florida), a niece, Samantha Pratt, and a cousin, Ernestine Garnette, who both served as caregivers during Dot’s illness.
The body will be available for viewing on Friday (Feb. 15th) at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home (5-8pm) and at Mt. Hope Baptist Church on Saturday, February 16th, the viewing will be extended from (9 to 11am), followed by the funeral (11am) and burial.
