Lillie Mae Walker, 76, of Caroline County passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Woodmont Nursing Home.

She was born Nov. 21, 1936, in Fredericksburg, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Parker Sr.

She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Lillie Mae was predeceased by her husband, Charles H. Walker. She is survived by her sons, Charles H. Walker Sr. (Sheila) of King William County and Melvin L. Walker Sr. of Spotsylvania County; daughters Pearline B. Howard of Woodford, Phyllis A. Howard of Fredericksburg and Trenise A. Walker of Spotsylvania; sisters Jeanette Jones of Fredericksburg and Diane Jenkins (Sam) of Clinton, Md.; two brothers-in-law, James P. Walker (Vivian) and Joseph Walker, both of Fredericksburg; two sisters-in-law, Mary Parker of Woodford and Elizabeth Banks (Bobby) of Columbia, Md.; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 7187 Macedonia Road, Woodford, Va. 22580, with the Rev. Carroll Jackson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
