Joyce Fay Fletcher-Ndiaye, 52, of Stafford County passed away Sunday, Jan. 20, 2013, at Stafford Hospital from breast cancer.

Joyce was born March 20, 1960, in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Lauretta V. Fletcher and the late Harry V. Fletcher.

She was a librarian at Saunders Middle School in Manassas, and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Stafford.

Joyce is survived by her husband, Abdou Latif Ndiaye of Stafford; sons Karim and Ibrahina Ndiaye of Washington, D.C.; and mother Lauretta Fletcher of Springfield.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, at Allen Chapel AME Church, 2498 Alabama Avenue SE, Washington, D.C., with the Rev. Cooper officiating. Burial will be in Stafford Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
