Cheryl C. Lomax 58, of Spotsylvania succumbed to her fight with cancer in the early hours of Friday, January 18, 2013.
Born in 1954, in Fredericksburg, she attended Walker Grant High School before graduating from James Monroe High School. She was employed at North American Die Casting, Value City Furniture and was employed in the computer room at CVS until the end.
Cheryl was a very kind and gentle soul with a loving and generous heart. She made everyone feel welcome and was always giving to others.
She was predeceased by her father, Anderson (Tact) Ellis and her sister, Linda Fauntleroy.
She leaves loving memories to be cherished by her husband of 38 years, Theodore; her daughters, Danielle (George) Hatchell and Alethia (Gary) Walker; her grandchildren, Quron, Nia and Maliyah; and her precious dog, Squirtles; her mother, Natalie; and her brother, Tommy.
A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at A. L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg. A Repast will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church (New Site), 525 Princess Anne Street, Fredericksburg.
