Jeanette Marie Fairfax, 52, of Fredericksburg died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, in Arlington.

Jeanette was born Dec. 7, 1960, in Camden, N.J., and was a project manager for ICF International for 13 years. She was a member of Word of the Truth Christian Ministries.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Henry Beverly. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Kelvin Fairfax; son David Eugene Finney Jr. of Fredericksburg; mother Audrey Beverly of Charlotte, N.C.; sister Lorraine Beverly of Charlotte; brother Oscar D. Beverly and sister-in-law Carlina Beverly, both of Capital Heights, Md.; granddaughter Maliyah Jeanette Finney; mother-in-law Louise Fairfax of St. Louis, Mo.; sister-in-law Angela Fairfax of St. Louis; stepdaughter Toccara Hilliard of Silver Spring, Md., and a host of extended family.

A viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at A.L. Bennett Funeral Home, Fredericksburg. A wake will be at 11 a.m. and the funeral will be at noon Tuesday, Jan. 15, at Word of the Truth Christian Ministries, 691 Courthouse Road, Stafford, Va. 22554, with Pastor Isiah Speller officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
