William H. ‘Butch” Taylor, 60, of Fredericksburg, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Mary Washington Hospital. He was employed as an Assistant Manager at Jos A Bank – Men’s Clothier in Central Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Adelaide Taylor. He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving sister, Bonnie G. Braxton (Oliver) of Woodbridge, VA; a niece, Stephanie Griffin Petty (Gary)of Stafford, VA; a nephew, Stephen C. Griffin (Anna) of Fredericksburg, VA; his loving companion, Brenda A. Jackson of Strasburg, VA; a great niece, Krysten M. Grymes; two great nephews, Christopher A. Griffin and Xavier C. Griffin. He also leaves to carry on his memory two adopted daughters, Ronda L. Cox and Geraldine Tolliver of Baltimore, MD and an adopted granddaughter, Arianna “Muffinett” Cox of Baltimore, MD; and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2013 in the Fletcher Bennett-Davis Chapel at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home, 200 Butternut Drive, Fredericksburg, with a public viewing at 10:00 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fredericksburg.
